"Beautiful Views and Wonderful Staff, but Disappointing Value for Money The Roc Club has some lovely qualities, especially its beautiful views and genuinely wonderful staff. The employees were fantastic, welcoming, and attentive, and they deserve special recognition for making guests feel well cared for. Although the restaurant has a small menu, the food was good, and I appreciated the quality of what was offered. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the high price of the stay. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of facilities, including a sauna, which I would have expected from a hotel in this price range. While the staff, views, and food were all positive aspects, I expected a more complete luxury experience for the amount I paid. The hotel has real strengths, but the facilities and overall value for money fell short of my expectations. I truly appreciate the employees and the service they provided. However, considering the price, I would hesitate to return or recommend it to someone looking for a fully equipped luxury hotel. Wonderful people, beautiful views, and good food — but ultimately, not worth the price for me."

"Amazing hotel at a very beautiful location with a lot of restaurants walking distance. I would go back. A couple of things surprised me. The drinks were over the top expensive at the bar and the exercise room was not accessible until 8 AM. overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The breakfast was amazing, fresh, delicious and representing various parts of Greece plus typical buffet continental american. Location of the hotel is excellent. Easy to go have dinner across on the sand at EDEM restaurant, easy to take the rail system to downtown Athens. Next to a grocery chain to grab something needed. The staff was helpful and the ride to and from the airport was fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family."

"This photo was simply fabulous for the amount that I paid. The room was large, the inclusive breakfast was nice, and the staff were very friendly. even down to the gentleman on reception giving me two complimentary cans of beer because it was my birthday this week.. it’s the simple things that make a complete journey. I was only staying one night, but I totally could’ve stayed here a whole lot longer. I had a lovely balcony that was overlooking the city in towards the harbour area. If I was gonna critique anything, it would be that the shower was incredibly small.. but everything else about the room was at least what I expected, if not a higher standard. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, maybe before you get a ferry or before you board a cruise ship, or even if you just wanna find somewhere to stay that’s out of central Athens, I would definitely put this hotel on your shortlist"

"The Margi Hotel is in prime location close to Astir Beach and the marina. The hotel is clean and well maintained albeit the double room is on the smaller side. Apparently we got an upgrade to a double room. Interestingly that is exactly what I booked so unclear where the upgrade was. Breakfast was great for boutique hotel, definitely get the orange juice and the margi farm grown tomatoes and eggplants. When we arrived, we were instantly greeted and assisted by the doormen who consistently greets us each time we see them. They definitely made us feel welcomed. Our luggages were quickly and efficiently delivered to our room within minutes of our arrival Front desk staff were somewhat stand off ish. Thought it’s their job to make guests feel welcomed? Hmmm. Not a deal breaker at all just comparing to our other stays on the trip at lesser hotels Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay there for its location and planned our days around the area. So would definitely return one day"
