“Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.”

“A beautiful barn conversion in an outstanding area. The Road to the cottage is narrow and bumpy but worth it to enjoy the peace once there. (Occasional moo heard as a working farm- but we were aware and actually quite liked it) Cottage is well equipped, beds very comfortable, very warm. Host was very helpful and welcoming. We used as a base to visit York and also Yorkshire wildlife park. Perfect location, nearby Howden offers good restaurants and location perfect for exploring Yorkshire and...

“Lovely host, location, and we had all we needed in the cottage to prepare small meals. It was clean, close to where we wanted to explore and located in a nice village. There was enough room for the two of us and our dog. I wholeheartedly recommend it”
