Great location for trip to Cannon Hall Farm. Easy to find off M1 & plenty of parking. Friendly staff and good food choices in evening. Spacious room with comfy bed. Bathroom needs some improvement, no extractor for damp and odd small mould spots

Greeted by staff at reception - very attentive to our needs. Room was comfortable and looked clean although there was a problem with the bathroom sink. Wasn’t much of a hindrance so reported to reception staff on departure. Only there for 1 night so can’t say if it was resolved. Food in the bar was adequate - we decided to skip breakfast so can’t comment on that. Overall was a pleasant stay.

An ideal hotel to explore around the Barnsley area. We used the local train at Dodworth. The town centre is well worth a visit - very clean, modernised, an excellent indoor market and a wide variety of shops. The hotel itself was first class in all respects.
