“Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more……

“I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! “I don’t even know where to begin to describe this place. It felt like home from the very moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Our room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and we were even upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. We felt so genuinely cared for throughout our stay that we honestly wished we could have stayed forever. A big shoutout to everyone working there (also to our yoga teacher, Nathalie) who made our first four days……

“Superbe hôtel, tout confort, avec les lits les plus confortables de notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Les chambres sont très propres et très agréables. La télévision a même Netflix. La piscine est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner excellent (prenez les tartines à l'avocat, elles valent vraiment le détour). Le personnel est très accueillant, avec un service très agréable (Merci Adithya pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse). En plus, c'est très calme, mais à 5 minutes en tuk tuk de la plage centrale……

“Our little family had an amazing stay at Riff. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good (the cleaning of the rooms is super!), food is delicious! You can hear the waves from the ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. You can go see the turtles and Turtle beach (5 minute Tuk Tuk), and snorkling. The staff is incredible and our 7 month baby Charlie was so well taken care off (they even fixed food for her!). Special thank to Benischa and the gang in the restaurant, Charlie misses you already!……
