"a mom and pop kind of motel. Nothing fancy. Just what you need for a relaxed, comfortable night. Mini fridge, microwave, TV. Clean room. Park directly in front of your door. Had breakfast at the State Street Diner down the street. Best bacon I've had in years.🙂"

"We really enjoyed this upscale funky roadside motel. Great sunsets. The beds were amazingly comfortable for our old backs. Easy bike ride into charming Port Austin for great food."

"My husband always takes the air filters out of the a/c and rinses them off at the beginning of our stay. He was amazed at this property as being the first time EVER that the filters were clean already! Good job, Holiday Inn! Room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Have stayed at 2 other properties in Bad Axe and this one was the very best! Will stay again!"
