“What a find! Motel Bear Lake was a last minute reservation for me. I got there late and the office was closed but I texted the number and immediately got a call back. The person walked me through getting into my room while I was still on the phone. The room was lovely, spotless, and full of little treats. A unique spot, truly. Would 100% stay again.”

“The room was very clean and had all the amenities a person would need. The bed was very comfortable, the selection of channels on the tv was great, the coffee and tea selection was good, having a microwave and refrigerator was great. Highly recommend this property when traveling.”

“The river was right outside from our private patio. There was a river walk all the way from the motel into town one way and the other way out to lake michigan.It was nice to walk that early in the morning, or later after dinner.Completely safe.It was great that the motel was pet friendly too.. We are sure that our stay there will not be the last.We wii be back.”

“Cool layout for a family or small group, and it’s a great location. The kids loved the bunk bed and the corn hole game. Kitchen and dinner no set up were great. On the downside- The metal circular stairs were tough to navigate with suitcases, and the kitchen trash being under the staircase had three of our guests knocking their heads against those metal stairs. Room darkening shades are needed in the bedroom, as it was super bright all night due to the exterior lights shining right through the……

“Room was clean, bathroom was rough! The water smells horrible and the shower doesn’t get hot. The bathtub surround had previous hair on it. Bed was comfy.”
