“This is a lovely hotel, wonderfully located, with exceptional service. While the historic aspect of the building is well preserved and charming, the decor is a bit dated and old. The bed is comfortable but sheets are slightly on the rough side. I happened to stay when the temperature was exceptionally HOT, so the AC could only do so much. I happened to forget to reserve a parking spot, but there is plenty of parking available publicly. It was a great value find, and I would definitely stay……

“Absolutely one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The rooms are HUGE, with luxurious Penhaligon toiletries, fluffy towels, complimentary chilled beverages, and AC that worked very well despite the record heat. The included continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the house cocktails at the bar were expertly crafted. But the true gem of this gorgeous hotel is the staff, especially Ryan and Kevin, who went absolutely above and beyond, and should be commended for making our stay……

“Beautiful old hotel not far from the main square. No restaurant so we walked a bit to find a few good places. Go on a weekend for free street parking. Room was very cool, but on the second floor—watch out if you have heavy bags. Very quiet. I don’t recommend their little buffet breakfast for an additional 15€; it was bad drip coffee and puce of cheese and sliced baguette—totally not worth it.”

“One of our favourite all time stays. We wished we could have stayed longer. The property and the room were absolutely incredible. Everything was comfortable and clean. The AC worked extremely well, even during an historic heatwave. Veronique was a terrific host. The breakfast in the garden was something we will never forgot. 10/10.”

“We enjoyed our 2-night stay here very much. The hotel is located at the centre of the city, very close to the Collégiale Notre-Dame. The front door of the hotel leads to the underground lobby. The front desk staff was very friendly, warm and helpful, the check-in process was very smooth. Our room is on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator. The front desk staff was very helpful”

“Heerlijk hotel, prima ontbijt, schone ruime kamer, fantastisch ontbijt. De auto staat achter een hek en het hotel is op loopastand van het centrum. Het personeel is vriendelijk, wat wil je nog meer?”

“The room provided to us came with an air conditioner failed to supply cool air by that day Beaune temperature was around 26-28 degree C. The lady in-charged front desk said hotel air conditioner will only supply cool air the next Monday, but we will check-out on Sunday after two nights stay. I questioned her how a hotel had such facilities failure without backup plan. She said sorry to me but the hotel had nothing to do to the guest like me even no electric fan provided. She then even counter……
