"We really appreciated this house! It’s full of character and charm. Quintessential Maine! No gray-washing here! We walked to the granite gallery one morning, cooked fresh lobster on the stove, obsessed over a puzzle... Make a right out of the driveway and you’ll reach a bake stand with delicious made-with-love cookies and biscuits. Great spot to branch out and enjoy all things Maine!"

"If you are looking for quiet, cozy, and serene, this is the place! The cozy cabin is not near any commercial activity, so if you want to avoid the chaos of Bar Harbor, this is the place for you. The cabin was clean and inviting, and it was nice to go to sleep at night hearing only insect noises. Lisa was a superb host. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin. The peaceful setting and gorgeous views made it such a relaxing getaway. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the water and spending time in the hammock by the lake. The thoughtful touches made our stay feel especially welcoming. The fresh flowers in vases throughout the cabin were such a lovely touch, and the blueberry muffins waiting for us when we arrived were a wonderful surprise. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Maine. Our host, Ainsley, was very responsive and accommodating, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat in beautiful Maine!"

"We loved our stay at this little gem! Everything about the cottage and location was just lovely. The view from the deck and the cottage was stunning and you felt like you were on a boat. It was so very peaceful and quiet. We saw loons most every day. The water was very clean for swimming. The inside of the cottage was beautiful, very clean and so livable. We even enjoyed sitting by the windows and reading on a rainy day! The AC unit was great and made the stay so very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the place and location so much that we basically hung out every day we were there! Too pretty to leave. Mark was a very responsive host and most helpful! Thank you for a relaxing and peaceful vacation!!"

"My wife and I and another couple truly enjoyed this house and property. The views of the bay off the deck at all times of day are spectacular. The quiet location was the perfect relaxing spot to return after full days in all parts of Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The owner was very responsive and the instructions and descriptions were 100% accurate and helpful. We highly recommend this home for a base for enjoying Acadia."
