“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”

“Maine has countless picture perfect harbors, but none surpass the natural beauty of Bunkers Harbor, located a few steps from the cabins screened porch. Bunkers Seafood Restaurant located next door, same proprietor, was great. The waitress even taught us how to eat whole boiled lobster. If you want the city excitement of Bar Harbor, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for REAL Maine, this is the spot. Schoodic Point offers better rocky coast access with very few people. We loved this...

“Nice quiet location close to everything Acadia National Park had to offer!! Very thoughtful snacks and toiletries as well. Great communication with host if anything was needed. Will be back!!”

“We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it.”

“Great location. The house was super clean and had many updates. Everything we needed was supplied.”

“Location and lodging were impeccable. The hosts were extremely helpful and conscientious. ”

“Although some upkeep on the deck (paint or stain) would help, our overall experience was great. The views from the deck and access to the beach was good. Will definitely repeat next time we visit Bar Harbor.”

“We had a wonderful time! Everything was as described, a great location and a beautiful property. The owner was very communicative and the whole process was a breeze. Thanks”

“Great cabin for a family! Location was perfect for exploring downtown and Acadia national park. The hosts were fantastic- very responsive to questions about the property and area. Kids loved exploring the private beach area.”

“The cabin was just what we needed. It was clean with updated bathroom fixtures, mini fridge and microwave. It was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay, but we were gone most of the day into the national park nearby. The host and the daytime manager were available by phone and were prompt in responding when we had difficulty getting the key from the lockbox!”
