The grounds were lovely, the bar was good when open. Admittedly we stayed on a midweek, off season stay with no staff onsite at night and the bar closed at 7.00 pm, we were the only people using the pool and it was very peaceful, with beautiful sunsets to enjoy with a glass of wine.
