"Lovely hotel and very helpful staff"
We had a short but great stay. Only 10 minutes to the Belfast International Airport. Very impressed with the staff, who were so helpful and quick to meet our requests.

"Beautiful hotel and location. "
The hotel and estate is simply stunning. The decor is really nice and welcoming and I must say the staff are top notch. The rooms are surprisingly big and the bathroom in particular is very well equipped. Yes it is expensive and the drinks in the bar are comparable to City of London prices but it shouldn't detract from the class of this place.

"Nice hotel"
Lovely hotel but wifi not as suggested - second time I've stayed here and had trouble with a poor signal. This time however the shower wouldn't work when I wanted to have a shower. Very comfortable beds and very clean room. Pool lovely but changing facilities poor and not as clean as I would have expected.

"OMG"
Everyone at The Merchant went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, the staff were welcoming, helpful and informative The architecture, fixtures & fittings within the hotel were amazing and many photo's were taken of the exquisite chandeliers and cute cherubs. The bedroom was stunning, with two Queen sized beds and a bathroom with large walk in shower and roll top bath. But it was also the little things like, chocolates when the maid turned down the beds in the evening and she also left a card with the weather forecast for the next day, which was very useful when planning our activities for the next day. I will definitely be returning to The Merchant and will look forward to a genuine Northern Ireland welcome.

"Overnight stay only. "
Unfortunately my sister had a very early morning flight from international airport so we had to leave before seven. Breakfast starts at seven which meant we missed sampling this. The hotel is in a lovely setting, the staff are excellent, rooms spacious and the beds very comfortable. I will definitely use this hotel if in the vacinity again.
