Come Experience Riverside - A Cozy Cottage with Beautiful Pamlico River Views

"Property and cottage were both great. The owners did an excellent job renovating the cottage; the kitchen and bathrooms are top notch. The screened in porch is nice and overlooks the Pamlico river, beautiful! The dock is also nice and super sturdy. But the best part of our rental was meeting and talking with the owners who live next door. They are the definition of southern hospitality. They made us feel welcome."

"Great communication, very fast to respond. Property was perfectly adequate and had that fish/hunting camp vibe, which was perfect for our guys fishing trip! Property has a great location and within 5 minutes to boat ramp access, down town shops/dining as well as major grocery store and a Hardee’s. Had a great stay! Thank you Krista!"

"This was our second stay at the Sterling House. We love the updated kitchen with all we need for our stay. Check in and checkout we’re very easy. William was very responsive when I had a question. Our favorite part of the house is the spacious covered deck with a view of the river."

Waterfront Home with Pier on Albemarle Beach

"I accidentally left milk in the fridge. Sorry. The clock in the kitchen is non-functional. It ticks, but doesn't move. I found some "presents" left from a previous cat guest. Left them in the bedroom. The dock was exactly what I wanted. I spent hours out there and hours more on the screened porch. Excellent time of the year to be on the water. I wish I had more time for the quiet reset. Many happy memories of stillness. I want two more days! I can still feel the wind on my skin. Structure issue: The low-step shower, not the tub shower, is seeing leakage/seepage into the floor structure. The floor structure is not designed to resist this water infiltration. Your floor is quickly delaminating and weakening. It should be reinforced and a water-resistant sub-floor be installed before someone steps through the floor into the crawlspace. I could feel it already starting to give."

"The room was clean, there is no coffee/tea maker in the room. There are a minimal TV channels on the TV. I believe the pool is not operational. If you're looking for a place to stay that is inexpensive, this will be a place to stay. The staff is friendly & helpful. If you are picky about where you stay then this motel isn't for you."
