"We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run...

"What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. "

"House was clean, there was enough dishes to cook with. there is only one bathroom which worked out fine because there are two half baths. Joe was also pleasant to work with, it was my second time booking with vrbo, he made me comfortable with the check in prosses. planning a trip need a place that is centrically located and easy to find I would suggest you give this house a try."
