Unfortunately my family's five day stay was a terrible experience. The hotel is very run down and poorly maintained. And there were issues from the time we arrived. The biggest problem was mosquitoes in and outside our room. I complained to the young receptionist and her first response was very disappointing. I was told that there were some "very important people" including judges expected to arrive and we might not be able to switch rooms. Advice to the young lady: never make a guest feel like they're not important!!!!!! At that point, I called around and found another place to stay so we were prepared to check out. After I told the receptionist we'll be leaving is when she actually started trying to move us. We were moved to the "penthouse suite" which was essentially a larger room with no mosquitoes. Still poorly maintained, fridge didn't work, and the door around the lock is close to breaking off. We stayed but problems continued: Horrible breakfast. Birds were sometimes pecking at the food. So we chose not to eat certain things. Lunch and dinner was excellent though. On the last day, water and electricity went out. They returned after about 20 minutes but then water went again that evening. I went to the same receptionist and told her about the water. Also let her know water went that morning. She told me I should've let them know in the morning and they would've fixed it. Again, young lady, NEVER MAKE A GUEST FEEL AS THOUGH THEY ARE WRONG!!!

The advertisement was a total lie, they had no air. The shower water was cold. The beach had litter. There were no seats on the beach and their free breakfast was minimum and the room was hot. No one is maintaining The property, even the Golf course was mediocre.

The villa itself is beautiful, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Everything around the property is gorgeous, and the views are amazing. My only complaints are regarding cleanliness and transportation. When we first arrived, the toilet was filled with poop and clearly had not been cleaned. We also dropped something and wanted to clean up the mess, but there was no broom or dustpan available. If you’re planning to stay at this villa and spend time exploring outside of the property, I strongly recommend renting your own 4x4 vehicle. Do not depend solely on the villa’s driver to take you around. You may have to walk down and back up a very steep hill, and it can be difficult and unsafe. I actually fell while walking on it and injured my hands and knees. Despite these issues, the villa is beautiful, the scenery is stunning, and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. With better cleaning and easier transportation access, the experience would be much better.

"I checked in around 5:30 pm and there was no receptionist. I was escorted to my room by the very friendly and apologetic security officer.
