The property was in a decent area with beach access even though we didn’t go on the beach. The pool bar only had low-tier alcohol. There was no seating at the pool bar. There was no fan at the pool bar (badly needed). The servers at the morning breakfast weren’t friendly and looked like they didn’t want to be there. A half a smile goes a long way. A couple of times they were fussing about something while the guests were around. The front desk was helpful. Decent job of keeping the pool clean. The hot tub did not work. We only ate breakfast there and it was good. We had several family members there with rooms. Killed a spider in one. Lived with a gecko in another and had ours sprayed for ants. Understandable that we were in a country where that might be hard to control. The maintenance and grounds were decent for the price point, but there is some work that could be done. Not sure why the shacks are covering up the view of the beach from the pool. Looks they should be torn down and clean up that area. There’s more to say here but I think I’d look to book somewhere else if I were to return.
