We love everything of this beautiful hotel.

The stay was OK for the money paid for, however all that I am going to mention costs $0 (or almost) to the property and can make a great location in the middle of the Costwolds a great place to stay. Check in was slow for a pre-paid room. Almost no welcome package with sightseeing, we had to ask, only to get a piece of paper with names of towns. Printing a chat GPT guide costs $0 which we got at all of the other hotels we visited. They told us the restaurant / bar closes at 10pm so we came down at 9:05pm wanting to grab a pub dinner and they told us the kitchen closed at 9pm and nothing could be done for 2 recently arrived guests. Let's say nothing could be done as we were technically late, but they could have told us about kitchen closed before the bar. AGAIN $0 - TOTAL disinterest for their guests The only thing it would cost them money to change was their kettle which was chalky white on the inside. Which we showed and they only offered hot water from the pub for our teas. The kettle costs $30 - $50 to replace, but the bad attitude is irreplaceable. Cleaning was not their forte either, I know that takes time and some money, but could be improved overall the property. Check out also took us like 20 minutes as no one was there despite the stay was prepaid. Again the hotel is a nice property, but a management overhaul is needed. I won't stay there again.
