Nice stay, despite the smell

When we walked into the hotel, we were overpowered by the smell of weed. The lady that checked us in was very friendly. The room was big, clean and smelled nice. AC worked well. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.

Front desk not manned 90% of the time. First room had not been cleaned, the second had a non-functional television. Carpets frayed to the point of dangerous on stairs.

Terrible smell in the entire building, like a mix of cigarettes, Marijuana and pinesole cleaner. Our room smelled the same. The bathroom tub very disgusting, yellow not clean, silicone around bathtub moldy. Sink area not much better. One think we appreciate in our room was tile flooring throughout entire room, i cannot imagine the smell with carpet flooring. The sheets on the beds were clean though.

There are literal roaches in the room. They have one person running this and another local hotel, you have to call to get someone there to check you in. Which means no staff at all, no coffee, no working ice machine, and a place that should simply be closed.

The room had baby roaches in the shower in the bathroom, I killed one with a tissue box on the wall. Everything I brought had to be taken back to my car for the night and I just grabbed what I needed when I needed it. The staff was nonexistent. I had to call a number and they ran from across the parking lot upon checking in. I wasn’t in my room really but 30 seconds and came back around 2 AM and seeing how horrible it was. The trim on the floor fell off right when I walked by it. There were three separate blankets on the bed a very thin, white sheet type blanket a decorative, maroon silk type blanket and then a little thicker wool type or cotton, yellow or beige blanket that has somebody else’s bodily fluid on it that was red and I tossed it on the floor immediately. Slept in my clothes for a few hours and checked out around 7:45 AM where again no one is at the front desk and I called the number and told the person I threw my key over the counter onto the desk. I did call the hotel itself and report everything upon telling them I was checking out way earlier than I should and it seemed they already know about these issues and nothing was really addressed. The lobby is beautiful, but the room is horrible and you can barely breathe something’s in the air. It gives pulmonary stress similar to mold being in the air. I have never stayed at a hotel like this and it was a horrible day and it was not even worth the three hours that I stayed to sleep before Louisiana bound

This was the worst place that I've stayed in the Bloomington area. There was no one at the check-in desk. My room was VERY dirty. It was not cleaned at all. The bed,at least, was made. No breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be back. You should not be advertising this site on Expedia !!!!!! AWFUL

Mixed review.

Staff was friendly. Price was great. Very clean for the price, but they had very limited amenities. No vending machines, no ice machines, no ice buckets and I had to basically program the TV myself to watch anything.
