In general the cabin was well appointed with everything almost everything you need. We were told we would be given a starter of several items, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc, it was all there.
We were surprised. By a very dirty stove and oven and mold on the shower curtain, which we reported. We also
discovered a broken towel bar and several lamps with missing light bulbs.
The cabin is within 2 miles of Blue Ridge, however the road going to the cabin is steep with hairpin turns and no lighting at night, making navigating difficult. However the views from the cabin are lovely. There is a lot of nearby construction so days are at times noisy. Also, during our stay a man showed up unannounced with a leaf blower to clean the deck and porch. It is obvious that the decks needed more cleaning than simple removal of leaves.
The master bedroom has a very uncomfortable bed and you are only given two very thin pillows. there were an adequate amount of towels.
All in all our stay was good but i would check to make sure that the cabin has been deep cleaned before booking a stay.
