Absolute Worst
We couldn't even stay here. It says 4WD recommended, well I have a F350 4WD and we had to be towed out the very first day - twice. My truck didn't fit in the driveway, well, the front half of my vehicle did, but not the bed of the truck, it blocked the road. Once down the hill, we couldn't get back out of the driveway - at all. We had to be very carefully wenched he'd back out the driveway and up the hill. The location is absolutely ridiculous. The description is very inaccurate and the photos are deceiving on what will fit in the driveway. We ended up having to find a hotel in the middle of the night due to not being able to get in and out of the cabin. We didn't even stay one night here. I messaged and messaged the property managers about having to be towed and all they told me over and over again was that 4WD was recommended. What a joke they are. Zero help from the property owner/manager. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Ever. No matter what type of vehicle you have.

This place needs a few upgrades.
The cabin was clean and private. However, it needs a few upgrades. The kitchen was a little sparsely equipped. The can opener did not work and needs to be replaced. The mattress and pillows in the left bedroom were VERY uncomfortable and should be replaced. The gravel road to the cabin was difficult to navigate even with all-wheel drive. That should be made more clear in the listing.

Nice but rough
First to start off sent email and no response back. No internet but lucky it was cable with selected shows. Road really need to be leveled out if not paving the road. Much needed!!! Trash was on the side of the cabin. The toilet had to be cleaned. And the final night before departure a Bear must have taken the garbage can!

It was difficult finding the place, the water at the cabin smelt really bad. Very steep driveway. We enjoyed our stay besides some things we had to deal with.

Cabin in the mountains
This was a beautiful cabin. The directions was missing a key road so we drove around trying to find the cabin for 1 1/2 hours before the management of the property was able to help. Dishes were dirty. We had to clean them before we used them. The anxiety of the roads and mountains were too much for me.

Great little get away
Only issues really were getting in contact with the property manager and stocking. The listing says pack lightly we have everything you need. We had to make a trek down the mountain to grab aluminum foil, toilet paper and paper towels. There was a laundry machine but no detergent so we bought some as well. We left it all there for the next crew to use. Other than that it was a great little get away.

Great cozy cabin close to Blue Ridge
Overall the experience was very good and exactly what we were expecting. First I will start with the positives, the cabin was just the right size for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of dishes and cooking essentials. The fireplace created the perfect ambiance for the cold winter days and nights. The hot tub was perfectly heated and clean, a must have luxury when renting a cabin in the mountains. There was a newer grill on the front porch which worked perfectly. The electric heaters work great to heat the bedrooms. We stayed the week of Christmas and it snowed on Christmas Eve which was a fun magical site to see, my teenage children loved it. Unfortunately, our cabin ran out of propane on Christmas Day and we were not able to use the stove or the fireplace for the remainder of our stay. This was quite a difficult situation to be in because most everything is closed on Christmas Day and the roads were too icy to drive on because of the snow. I did contact the property managers, but have not herd back on the matter. Many of the reviews comment about the difficult roads leading up to the cabin, let me elaborate. It is approximately 2 miles from the main highway up to the cabin. Approximately 1 mile is wide enough to pass other cars and paved, the other mile is very steep gravel roads that require an experienced driver. Thank goodness my husband falls into the experienced driver category. For safety purposes, we made sure to use the daytime for outings and made it back to the cabin before dark each day, which worked well for us. The beds were not the most comfortable, but usable for the week. The kitchen oven was the biggest concern. At first the oven would not turn on, then it finally turned on and it did not want to turn off (we did get it to turn off, but I had to watch that oven like a hawk). The first item I cooked, the oven would not reach temperature. The next time I cooked, the oven was too hot and burned 2 batches of cookies. If I were the owners, I would replace that oven range immediately! Overall we created great memories, had a great time, and laughed really hard over 2 batches of burnt cookies.

Mountain tranquility!
The cabin was very clean. The deck was great to sit and sip coffee on and look out into the forest. The hot tub is an awesome bonus! Just make sure you have 4 wheel drive to converse the mountain and driveway! But the location is amazing! Close to town, but yet you feel like you are way in the mountains !

Overall very good, a few minor issues
First of all, this cabin is lovely. Spacious, inviting, warming. Excellent kitchen with cookware, stove, toaster oven, anything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. Plenty of outdoor space for sitting on the deck. The hot tub was a nice touch, it was clean and inviting. I was expecting a grill, as it had been mentioned in the listing and it was nowhere to be found. There was some charcoal under the sink and grill accessories but no grill, which was disappointing. I was cooking a birthday meal for a good friend and had I known there would not be a grill on the premises, I would have brought my small portable grill from home. Some have mentioned the steepness of the driveway and the road to the cabin. I had very few issues with either, take it SLOW and those used to mountain roads will have little trouble. I have an AWD hatchback with low clearance, I did have a little bit of maneuvering to do but very few issues getting there or out. Just a heads up that there is no Wi-Fi and the TV is an old school CRT style. I wasn’t staying at the property to watch TV or cruise the Internet, so no problem on my end with that. All in all an excellent getaway and as long as you are aware of a few of the minor quirks of the cabin, it is an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to friends.

Great for a Getway
Etowah was a super cute and cosey cabin. It was great and had everything we needed. The check-in process was seamless and we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. As a note: Apple Maps does not take you directly to the house, only to the road the house is on, Google maps, however, did navigate you right to the driveway. The only thing I would be mindful of is the driveway. Getting in and out was a little tricky but other than that I have no complaints.

Anniversary getaway!!
This house was a perfect getaway for me and my boyfriend! We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed every second of it. The only thing I have to complain about is if you have allergies, bring some medicine with you because you'll be sneezing up a storm because of dust or maybe cat hair because this cabin is pet friendly, but other than that I definitely recommend this cabin, it is in a nice neighborhood and also in a great area.
