Peace and serenity await you at this luxurious water front 🏞 Georgia Mountain cabin. Leave the world behind while you delight in the tranquility of this stunning lake front getaway. Aptly named "Water's Edge" you can view Cherry Lake from almost every room in the cabin. This breathtaking scenery sets the stage for a perfect romantic getaway for two or make it the ideal spot for a group of close friends or family to enjoy some time together in the mountains of North Georgia.

Hidden among the trees and situated right along the shore of Cherry Lake this beautifully crafted log cabin provides you the luxury cabin experience you long for. Featuring vaulted ceilings, bay windows, natural stone, and exposed hardwoods throughout, the retreat brings the peaceful feeling of nature to every room in the cabin.

Enter the main level on the covered terrace through oversized, hand-crafted wood doors using your own access code for easy self-check-in. Through the entryway is a tucked-away dining space for six that flows into an open-concept cabin. To the right of the entry find a well-appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals. New appliances, granite countertops, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you will need to enjoy perfect meals while you listen to the Georgia breeze in the trees. Brew a cup of coffee and step into open-air living space to enjoy high-peak vaulted ceilings, a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, and oversized comfy sofas. Step outside to relax and take in the views on the first of three covered decks providing expansive views of the lake, all usable in any season. Just off the kitchen and living space find the first bedroom featuring a king mattress, TV, and large windows bringing in an abundance of natural light. Finally, the main level boasts one bathroom with a stand-up shower, fresh towels, and basic bathroom amenities.

Take the beautifully crafted hardwood stairs to the lofted upstairs of the cabin. Here you will find another living space with an oversized sofa overlooking the space below, perfect for cozying up with your favorite book and letting the natural light pour in on you. Walk the short hallway to find the second bedroom featuring a queen mattress with plush linens, nightstands, reading lamps, TV, and its own personal terrace overlooking the lake. The loft area features a well-appointed bathroom with a shower-tub combination, fresh towels, and basic bathroom amenities you may need during your stay.

Looking for fun right in the cabin? Head downstairs to find the game room featuring darts, foosball, and an arcade game. Make a drink and relax at the whiskey barrel table and put the game on the wall-mounted TV. With that backcountry pub feel, you'll be feeling all your stress slip away as you make memories that last a lifetime. The bottom level of the home boasts one more bedroom featuring a queen bed with a single mattress bunk as well as ground-level access to the hot tub and pathway to the lake.

Although we know you will love every inch of the cabin interior the fun, the memories, and the stress-relieving peace that can be found outside the cabin are even better. Melt your worries away while soaking in the hot tub located on the basement floor deck. Enjoy the Georgia breeze on the main deck or stroll down the stairs to the dock on Cherry Lake. Featuring lounge chairs on the dock and your very own Jon-boat and kayak, enjoy time on the water fishing and taking in the warm sun rays. Forgot your fishing pole? Not to worry, we have you covered with provided fishing poles. Looking for a little more competition? Head over to the horseshoe pit for a friendly game of horseshoe. Enjoy the sunset while you build a fire next to the lake. Installed benches provide enough seating for 6 and we've been told there is no better place in all of Georgia to enjoy a few s'mores.

Working remotely during your stay? We have you covered with high-speed Wi-Fi capable of supporting video conferencing and ample table space for you to set up the at-home office. Enjoy Netflix on all TVs or stream your favorite service or simply unplug with one of the many books in the cabin.

*Pet Policy*
As pet owners ourselves, we enjoy being one of the few lakefront cabins in Blue Ridge that allows pets! We charge an additional $45 pet fee for every 2 dogs that come along on the trip. There is also a $50 large dog fee (+50lbs). The fee covers additional cleaning and wear and tear as we have hardwood floors throughout.

Need a little fun for the kids or just a simple date night? Take an outing at Cohutta Cove mini-golf and enjoy many of the dining accommodations throughout Blue Ridge. Stroll down the main street to explore small-town shops including antiquing, gifts, and more. Grab a taste of the deep south with family-style meals at the quaint Southern Charm Restaurant or in the lodge-style restaurant Harvest on Main.

Order some delicious pizza from Blue Jeans Pizza and Pasta or grab some of your favorite craft beers at Grumpy Old Men Brewing. Looking for a great cocktail? Head on over to Black Sheep Restaurant. Looking for that nostalgic feels of days of old? Check out the Trailer Drive-in for great burgers, fries, and milkshakes. They even have a great breakfast. If you are in the mood for something sweet and European, stop by Danielle's Cafe for authentic French crepes.

Ready to explore? Take the short 25-minute drive to the Aska Adventure Area. Enjoy winding roads with amazing foliage as you head to any number of trailheads. Choose your trail and hike into the Georgia woods to find beautiful mountain views, creeks, and wildlife abound.

Our beginner friendly favorites include the 2.3 Long Branch Loop Trail and the 2.8 mile lightly trafficked Green Mountain Trail. Looking for a little longer hike? As in many parts of North Georgia, the route to our cabin is along a mountain road. Roads are maintained frequently and mostly paved. Trailers are not recommended on the path as some turns can be narrow. Covered parking for one vehicle is available along with private driveway parking for other vehicles (uncovered).

We have a Nest security camera at the front door and underneath the carport to monitor trash pick-up, firewood supply and for your and our security.
