The stay was amazing. From the hosts being so kind and responsive, to having a beautiful cabin that had everything you would need for cooking and baking. The beds were super comfortable. I have no complaints about our stay. Hoping to return some day in the future.

Such a wonderful stay. We loved the location, the home was so comfy and cozy and the porch was absolutely amazing! All the personal touches were so special. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub! We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Fall Getaway in Blue Ridge

The property was beautiful with a wonderful view from the screened in porch. We ate many of our dinners at the cabin vs. going out to eat because we enjoyed the relaxation and amenities a lot. We had a fire, smores and used the hot tub daily. It was very relaxing after a morning of hiking or other outdoor activities. I have stayed in other mountain properties and the drive to the cabin was very easy. It was close to grocery stores and restaurants, but when you were at the cabin you felt like you were in the middle of the woods. We did enjoy a kayaking trip down the Toccoa River and a trip to Gibb's Gardens besides the waterfalls and hiking. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone wanting to visit the area. It was a great trip with our adult children.

Girls Trip

House was perfect! Amenities were all provided and house was well stocked. Home was wonderfully decorated ! Close proximity to all our adventures. 1 lane road a little tricky but caused No problems! Overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Crest Cottage. Cozy and all the amenities you could possibly need. It even had some fall decorations and a beautiful welcome basket. Great location close to Downtown Blue Ridge. We will definitely return!

Girls Trip in the Mountains

What a blessing it is as staying here! Ed & Elizabeth have truly thought of everything you might need. When our outdoor porch lights wouldn’t work, they personally came out to fix it on their maintance guys day off. Beautiful and updated inside! The two three year olds enjoyed their trip away just as much as the adults!

Mountain stay

The house is immaculately clean and comfortable. Everything you need has been taken care of: comfortable beds, plentiful towels, firewood, walking sticks for hikes, hot tub ready to go. House is close to Blue Ridge and plenty of hikes and views. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent Property

Beautiful home that was in a great location. Grocery store just 5 min away and downtown Blue Ridge an easy drive. The host was excellent in communication and made sure everything was taken care of. The cabin was very nice and small details such as books for both adults and kids did not go unnoticed. We had four kids under the age of 4 and felt very sfae in the house. The upstairs stairwell and a door and the upstairs screened in porch did as well so the kids could move around without worry. Our two 4 year olds loved the downstairs bunk room and everyone enjoyed the porches and outdoor firepit. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

Beautiful cabin with great view. Well appointed and cozy. It has everything you need, plus hot tub, fire pit, grills, etc. Hosts are amazing and very responsive. Nearby town of Blue Ridge is fun and good hiking close. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully appointed property, terrific location

Mountain Crest is a great property to serve as a comfortable home base as you explore Blue Ridge. We found the cabin immaculately clean with no detail left undone. Pleasantly greeted with a welcome basket which included nice surprises to make our stay special. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening. Kids had fun with the hammocks, the hot tub, and all the games available at the property. Very conveniently located to downtown, hikes, and area attractions. We would definitely stay again! Elizabeth & Ed are gracious welcoming hosts, great with communications and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back! Thank you for all your hospitality!

The Best Weekend Nest

Elizabeth & Ed’s place was amazing for my quick vacation/writing retreat. Me and my fellow 8 PhD students needed a quiet, pretty space to study and write & be away from hectic campus life. The place was super clean, comfortable, spacious, and practically perfect for our stay. When there was an issue, the hosts were very quick in response time and informative. Everything you can think of, they had (it was a running joke amongst us that whatever we needed, I’m sure Elizabeth has it hidden somewhere. Pizza cutter? Check. S’mores? Check. Blankets? Check. Hammocks? Check. Therapist? Can’t find them but I’m sure there’s one in the house LOL.) Overall we loved our stay as it served our purpose, in addition to building wonderful memories for our group. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy place to hit up in Blue Ridge. It’s not easy pleasing 9 overworked students-but they were able to pull it off seamlessly. No disappointments!

fantastic family getaway in this charming cottage with everything you need and more!!!

We absolutly loved our stay at the cabin it was more than enough space for our big family, so many small but courteous details, the beds super comfortable, great location to gem paning, tubing, grocery stores! The hosts are quick to respond and go way above and beyond to make your stay so nice and memorable! We will definitly be back!!!!!

Above and Beyond

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It has everything you could want and more. The downstairs bedrooms/den is perfect for family’s with kids. The owners kept in contact and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy everything they had to offer. We will 100% return for a longer trip. Amazing Home and Even Better Hosts

I want to start off by saying the hosts are incredibly communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we were well prepared for our stay. From "sneak-peaks" of the cabin before our arrival, and personal check-ins in the morning, they made sure we felt at home and had everything we need! The cabin and property as so well maintained and it has every amenity you could ask for - the hot tub is clean, the fire pit is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious, and the view from the decks is magnificent. It's also a very short drive to downtown Blue Ridge, so daily excursions and trips are easy to accomplish. We cant wait to come back soon!

"Mountain Crest Cottage" was a fabulous weekend getaway! Hosts, Elizabeth & Ed, were very helpful and have left no detail over looked. Super clean, complimentary toiletries, and beautiful decor. It was more than just a cabin; it was an experience! Convenient location to local amenities, but we enjoyed just relaxing on the porch and taking in the mountain air.
