“This is not a typical resort! It is located within a residential area in the mountains it is difficult to navigate with spotty reception. Also the pools including the indoor pool was closed which was a huge bummer! That being said the property right in front of the river is very nice and spacious it was nice walking along the riverside in the cool mornings. Would not recommend to anyone traveling with a baby unless they are excellent in the car all amenities are spread out you will have to drive……

“We had a wonderful New Year stay at this cabin. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. Check-in was very easy, and the instructions were clear and well prepared, which made the arrival stress-free. The cabin itself was beautiful and very comfortable, creating a perfect place to relax and celebrate the New Year. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others.”

“There were several maintenance issues. The faucet at the kitchen sink spewed water when turned on. The upstairs bathroom door would lock but not "latch" when closed. The hot and cold water was "reversed" in the sinks. The air-conditioning didn't work in the basement. The air-conditioning would not stay set on our selection for upstairs, this was a issue with being in the 90's outside. Other than these maintenance issues it's a great property with fantastic views.”

“Area was great - road to cabin was paved or gravel at end and good to drive on. Couch was not comfortable - old and in need of replacement for true comfort. Beds were comfy and porch was great. Kitchen adequate but stated their was a coffee grinder so we brought whole beans only to find no grinding machine. Guide to TV usage should be better for those who are not familiar with Roku TV.”

“This cabin should be “Spider Haven” vs. Deer Haven. The photos are deceptive, there was NO VIEW of the mountains, all grown up (summer time) and the canal was stagnant water and NOT flowing and we were not able to put our kayak in. The hot tub has a water leak, so it was below the line and would not turn on and the AC in the bedroom is too loud to sleep, We checked in with the host, Alex, 2 days before arrival and still, the hot tub was not addressed PRIOR TO our arrival and the A/C was set to……
