Boranup is a vast natural site, known for incredible views, limestone karst caves and wilderness areas. Wind through towering karri trees on a tourist drive or explore a forest maze grown from native shrubs. This natural site also features extraordinary sandy beaches and camping areas.

Stop at Boranup Karri Forest, a beautiful natural area with enormous karri trees, wildflowers, orchids and an abundance of native plants. The karri tree is one of the tallest trees in the world, sometimes growing more than 60 meters (200 feet) tall. The forest boasts excellent walking trails, limestone caves and a hard limestone tourist drive, known as Boranup Drive.

Take a self-guided audio tour of Mammoth CaveOpens in a new window, one of the most accessible show caves in Western Australia. This limestone cave was the site of an extremely important paleontological excavation in the early 20th century. Learn about the fossil remains of long-extinct giant animals, known as the Australian megafauna.

Boranup Forest Maze is a large hedge maze grown from native shrubs. It is great for families and can be accessed year-round. Play outdoor games, such as oversized chess and checkers or explore the landscaped gardens. This recreational area is a great place to stop and relax when visiting Boranup Karri Forest.

The Cape to Cape Track is a 135-kilometre (84-mile) bushwalking track running through Boranup. This long-distance walking trail is known for outstanding views of the region’s geographic formations, including cliffs and limestone caves. The Cape to Cape Track is also known for its ever-changing display of wildflowers and native vegetation.

All rooms were very clean, the disabled bathroom was perfect for us 👍 we had such good sleeps in the beds 😴 everything we needed was there. At the River restaurant, the chef offers his specials too. The gold band snapper was excellent yesterday!!! Highly recommended!
