"We needed somewhere to stay for one night in between Capitol Reef and Bryce. I found this place and decided to book, knowing nothing about the town of Escalante. "We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip to southern Utah before leaving on the road back to Chicago. The house was amazing! It may have been the nicest rental we've stayed in ever. It was very clean and tidy, modern interior design/decor, there was space for our clothing (we had been on the road for 1.5 weeks and some rentals had no room to put our clothing), Linda (our host) had everything we needed including bowls, treats and poop bags for our pups + coffee, tea, soda, water, etc......

From the stargazing from the roof deck to the sunrise from the dining table and back deck, it was perfect. Plenty to do exploring the property and its proximity to town was what we needed. The builders/owners deployed artistic and naturalistic flair to create a fantastic retreat in the middle of a cottonwood grove and red rock canyon. The extra touches, books and art were a pleasure. We would love to spend a month there if we could. Highly recommend."

"We initially booked a covered wagon. Super cute idea, but let me tell you…if it’s windy and you aren’t a sound sleeper, good luck. We spent sleep a wink the first night we were there. The front desk was extremely accommodating and allowed us to switch to a regular room the second night. Which I really appreciated. The regular room was clean, quiet and comfy. Slept like the dead. The restaurant is good for dinner. Excellent steaks. Unfortunately, their breakfast is not nearly as impressive as they think. Watery eggs, so-so selection. We didn’t eat there the second morning because we were disappointed. All in all happy with our stay though and appreciated the friendly staff. "
