North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. “The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We were met by the owner, Mark, on arrival, who was very welcoming. He provided lots of local information, including walks and pubs marked on an OS map. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There are several properties here, but all wirh separate entrances and outside seatinf areas so they feel private. It was a great base for a few days in the Suffolk countryside. ”

“The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...

“Property brilliant, so very queriky decorated beautifully . Lovley owners, bowl of goodies greatfully received ! Everything you would need on a short break , fantastic for dogs safe secure back garden , only one thing its on a road so makes it alittle noisy”

“Wonderfully rustic property in a brilliant location. Hosts were gracious and welcoming and made sure we were settled. Local White Horse pub (minutes away, walkable if you're feeling energetic) is a must for their housemade pizza and in-house brewery. Great weekend getaway ... highly recommended.”

“Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again.”
