"The hotel appears to have been recently remodeled and the rooms are very nice. They changed the breakfast to use a diner next door that was very nice compared to the way they did it before. It was a good price for a nice room. The only negative is they need bigger/nicer bath towels. But we will be there again on our next visit to the area."

"We loved staying at The Garland! Such a cute hotel with a lot of character and charm. Everyone from the front desk person who checked us in, to all the staff in the halls, store, pool, and especially the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and kind. Movie nights at the pool were a fun bonus, and all the food was delicious."

"The breakfast for $5 for your party was great. They had a variety of items to eat. The buffet style setup was always full of food and drink. The staff were welcoming and kind. This.hotel offers a one free ride per day to and from by Uber to select locations in the area. We ate dinner in the 270° panaramic view of the mountains and Pacific not to mention the food was scrumptious. The location is great for West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica."

"Hotel staff is very attentive and nice. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Everything is new. Location was superb for our cycling trip. Breakfast variety was good enough not to have to drive anywhere. Only downside is having to pay $18/day to park in the hotel parking lot — seems illogical. "
