Mommy's Birthday Gathering

The place was perfect for a relaxing 4th Birthday/Enagement Anniversary getaway. Everyone enjoyed the sunrise & sunsets we were able to take in. I would highly recommend this place to ALL my family and friends! We will be back!!

Family Vacation on the River

The property was perfectly located on a beautiful spot on the the river for our large family to enjoy and celebrate the July fourth holiday week. The home was clean, large, and very well maintained. Owner was available anytime we needed. We definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs water therapy with family and friends.

Must visit this home away from home!!

WE LOVED THIS GETAWAY! We didn't want to leave. Host was awesome. He came out personally and assisted with our internet connection and told us more about the area. Perfect way to enjoy the San Bernard River and it’s an easy drive to several beach areas during the day. Can’t say enough good stuff about the house itself.

High Tide

Due to Hurricane Beryl it was too late to cancel this VRBO. We were not able to access the river due to high tides during our entire stay. Once we washed off the outside patio (Front and Back) and swept the interior floor the place was nice and accommodating!! Our host Kevin was great!

Great weekend and family Christmas party

Had a wonderful time with the family. We had 20 of us together playing games, opening gifts, enjoying each other without the hassle and work of doing it all at home. This is a beautiful home with a great open floor plan that can accommodate crowds as well as be cozy for couples. The hosts were amazing. Communication was top notch. They knew we were doing our family Christmas and had the home decorated perfectly. Could not have asked for anything more out of our trip. Thank you Kevin & Lucinda

Girl Weekend on the river

Everything about this rental was great! The communication to check in and out was very easy. The location is peaceful. The house had everything we needed for the weekend and we even appreciated the extra towels for the boat!

Family Crawfish Party

Beautiful house! Great location on the San Bernard River. Close to our family. We loved sitting in the backyard looking at the river. Enjoyed coffee in the morning. The property manager has everything beautiful.

April 2024 Beach & Fishing Trip

We enjoyed our stay on the San Bernard River. We were able to catch a few legal black drum even though the water was dirty due to rain and wind. This place was evenly spaced between Freeport and Sargent so we went to one Freeport beach one day and Sargent beach the other. Had fun on the beach both days. Then came back to house to relax, cook nice meals, and hang out by the fire. I don't think we turned on the TV but once or twice. Property owner was very friendly and made every effort to ensure we has a great trip.

My husband's 40th birthday.

The property is beautifully decorated and when they say fully furnished it was.. Had a blast fishing and we were able to take brother inlaw boat out on the water. Property was very clean and relaxing we want to book another stay soon.

We loved everything about this rental! The house was awesome (very roomy), porch with fire pit was perfect for making s’mores with the kids, and the river was great for swimming and fishing! We would definitely love to stay again.

Great family gathering

The property is very nice and well stocked for a large gathering. The host was very helpful during our stay. Comfortable beds, separate two rooms and a bath was very accommodating. Too cold to fish but it was a great time and very quiet neighborhood.

Comfortable Atmosphere

This place is so accomodating and had everything we needed for the reason behind our stay. We had our family Christmas and a small surprise 18th birthday amongst our little family. This place is absolutely amazing I would give it a 10 on places to reccommend for an extended stay on the river.

Beautiful home on the river. A perfect vacation rental.

This rental was wonderful! It had everything we needed and more for a long weekend in the area for a wedding. We would love to stay there again.

Perfect location

This property was perfect for what I wanted to do for my birthday. The fishing was on fire all night and the house accommodated my family perfectly. Plenty of space and very clean.. We will be back!

Very clean house in excellent condition in a great location on San Bernard River. I rented it for family that was coming in town for my in-laws anniversary party that was held at our house about a mile away, so it worked out great for us. I can see us renting it again. Very easy check-in and check-out, great host!

Great, Great, Great! So happy with our stay!

Communication was great with owner. He met me at the property, walked me around and then let us enjoy ourselves. House has everything you need. The hosts have thought of everything. Board games, plenty of dishes, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills, lots of beds, full laundry room. The only thing we can complain about is that we wish we could have stayed LONGER! The dock is amazing, the house is basically new and there is so much room and a great kitchen. This is a great family friendly getaway and we will definitely be back!
