Very cute little place with great staff and good food. It is a little to noisy for our liking but I can see how some ppl can enjoy that but for sleeping purposes just a little too loud for us. It is expected though because we were right above a bar. It is very family orientated and very cool atmosphere with yard games to play and I know bands play there so that would be cool to see (none were there when we stayed) the staff was AMAZING (owners & others)! It was a good getaway but need more sleep for lack of it lol.

We stay here at least once a year and love The Blue Elk. Actually, we haven’t stayed anywhere else in Leavenworth in over seven years. Every employee we have engaged with is extremely nice, courteous, and professional. The breakfast is always delicious.

Overall great experience and food!

All Staff were friendly. We spoke to front desk, maintenance, housekeeping and breakfast staff.....all were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast...it was plentiful and the staff kept it stocked and clean. Overall our room was clean. It was a convenient location to our car/the parking lot, the stairs, ice machine, which was very useful and the elevator. The property is older and run down in several areas and it was not a quiet stay. We could hear everything. Several people running and talking later at night, the cars driving by, the ice machine. The AC did not keep the room cool enough at night, between the AC and noise, it made it difficult for me to sleep through the night.
