Be aware that the windows don't close properly (or at all), there is a lot of noise during the night, properly critters. This unit is above someone and the neighbors are quite close. Very nice ferry driver! If you are into a glamping experience, it is worth it, but the price should reflect this."

"If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. "Great location! Very helpful and friendly island staff! Wonderful screened-in front porch overlooking the lake. Nice beach with access to different water crafts. As the listing indicates, there is no A/C (and also no ceiling fans) - the property manager did bring in box fans after we asked. The house is older but clean. It doesn’t have a lot of the usual amenities and wasn’t as comfortable as other places we’ve been, but our family had fun."
