Unplug at Davey Fallls! Water view, Private waterfall & large swimming area.

10/10 Excellent
"We indulged ourselves and rented the RV camper as a base camp for our day hikes and adventures in the High Peaks Wilderness. It was well worth it if you want to avoid the hassle of the tenting experience. The beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean, the well water was pure, and the conveniences were plentiful; gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and French press, microwave (if you use that sort of thing), toaster, pots, pans, plates, etc. The setup outside was equally sweet; fire ring with Adirondack chairs and camp wood steps away, gas barbecue, picnic table provides seating for a family. The two other tent sites were distant enough to provide privacy but close enough to promote neighborliness. Sixty seconds away, you could sit on the comfy furniture at the deck/treehouse overlooking the swimming hole and listen to the soothing sound of the waterfall. You could also have your pick of a lounge chair, a hammock or boats and floats to enjoy the space as well. Despite the rural location, shopping for food, gas and essentials is a few minutes away. The friendly town of Ticonderoga is nearby with its concerts, food co-op and public beach on Lake George. Don't miss the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour! You can visit Fort Ticonderoga and enjoy the musket/cannon demonstrations as well as their museum and reenactors who explain the history and lifestyle 250 years ago to the day. Our host was the best! He advised and suggested great stuff. We will return!"
