Great location served by local bus route from centre of town. Convenient cafes and eateries within walking distance as well as the beach front.

The location is good, within walking distance of the seafront and the town centre, and there are lots of cafes for breakfast nearby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the shower room and toilet was very small. Parking is an issue, as available on street parking is a considerable walk away.

Although the bedding, towels and in general was clean, the carpet was really dirty, we didn't even want to walk on it in bare feet, the toilet didn't flush properly, the shower door wouldn't close from the inside. We arrived very late at night and the room was bitterly cold, the radiator didn't come on until the morning so we had a terribly cold, uncomfortable night. We left the next morning as the hotel really did not live up to expectations.

A very pleasant stay even though it was very hot in Eton. The fan was most appreciated. We had a delicious breakfast. There were many choices on the menu.

Spent 1 night at Colson House. Room 7 (single en-suite - top floor) - it was clean / cosy / the mattress was so comfortable I slept like a baby / was very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely book again

Comfortable stay after night out

Well decorated, gorgeous 4 poster bed, we had everything we needed. Good location for walking to centre and cafes and pubs even closer, seafront also.

Lovely property and the room we had on the 3rd floor was very big, clean and quiet. From the guest house to the pier is walkable only about a 10mins walk and plenty of shops around to grab snacks
