The room was clean and smelled wonderful (both reasons I generally stay at Hampton Inns), the people were friendly, the breakfast was good and the packed lunch was a bonus. It was the first time I had ever been able to hear anyone in another room (maybe the insulation between the rooms wasn't quite as good as it might have been??) but as soon as I called and complained, it was taken care of....

This hotel is about 20 miles outside of Birmingham, but the traffic is so light in this part of the country that it takes almost no time to get there. It is conveniently located right off of Highway 20 West, and the drive is worth it! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is clean and well-kept. It is obvious that the staff takes pride in the hotel and in their jobs - a rarity these days. One of the most important features is the quiet you will enjoy. Not a sound is heard...

I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the hotel was maintained. The property was very clean. The staff was very professional and friendly. the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable which gave me a good night sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were fine, the bathroom was spacious, & the desk was big with a nice lamp. The chair in the corner was cute, but a lamp and stool by it would have made it even better. They need to fix the shampoo dispenser in room 414. The part that is supposed to stay still (as you unscrew the new pump part) doesn't -- it turns; so the pump won't unscrew to allow usage. The ice maker was not working on the 4th floor, but it was on other floors. We notified the front desk of...

The room was really, really nice and clean. The hotel also includes a bar/restaurant and an indoor swimming pool. The location is perfect; everything you'd need is close by. I definitely recommend this hotel and I definitely plan on staying again if I'm ever in the area and need somewhere to stay.

When is the best time to go to Brighton?
Brighton, Alabama, is a small town with limited tourist infrastructure, so the "best" time to visit largely depends on your specific reasons for being there, as it's not typically a tourist destination.
If you're visiting family or friends, or conducting business, any time of year is suitable, though you might consider avoiding the peak heat and humidity of summer (June to August). For pleasant weather, spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) offer cooler temperatures and lower humidity, making outdoor activities more comfortable.
The town itself doesn't host major seasonal events or attractions that would dictate a specific "best" time.
