Friendly welcome to a lovely clean, well-eq, comfortable cottage, tucked away in a peaceful location but near to places of interest. We loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
From being met by the host to leaving, we had a great stay. The property was very clean and suitable for our family of 4. We had everything we need. The hosts gave ideas for walks and things to do in the area, as well as any queries.Very easy to find and on a great location. A very enjoyable break.
Great place to stay if you like a peaceful semi isolated area, but just a few minutes drive to local amenities pubs and restaurants
Great for dogs
Lovely hosts
Every thing you need for your stay, comfortable, clean. Dog friendly, our nervous girl was very happy and enjoyed the walks in surrounding areas with her Dad.Hosts very welcoming and helpful.Would definitely stay again and recommend.
We had a wonderful week at this lovely cottage. It is in a great countryside location with lots of walks nearby. The cottage is beautifully equipped and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. Our granddaughter visited us there with her dog and there was plenty of room for him to exercise outside. We look forward to returning soon.
The property was just perfect. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. If you want to relax and enjoy green space and not be too far from civilization then you'll be delighted with the location.
The cottage was cosy and warm with comfy beds. Our host, Liz, was very helpful and gave us useful tips about local walks and pubs for meals and drinks. A “welcome pack” provided some breakfast essentials to tide us over until we got to a shop. The kitchen was well appointed, and the shower room was lovely. We will be back.
Deer cottage is lovely, warm and comfortable and well equipped. A great location for travelling around the Bristol area. Fabulous walks on the doorstep. The hosts are so helpful and welcoming.
Would definitely return when we are in the area again.
Liz and John were wonderful hosts. The property was spotless upon arrival and the rooms were thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and modern - we enjoyed cooking and having cosy nights in.
We would highly recommend this property for a countryside getaway, with close proximity to Bristol, Clevedon and Bath.
Great accomodation we had a lovely time. Could not ask for better location. Fabulous Cottage all mod cons and very well equiped and comfortable. Liz and family are lovely and always helpful. Our two dogs loved it and were vey happy enjoying it as much as us. We would certainly go again.
We had a fabulous time at this cottage. Liz and John couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The cottage was clean and just as described. Liz and John went out of their way to stock some groceries in the fridge. And we loved having sheep in the nearby field. We definitely would recommend this cottage!!!
Our third visit and equaly as good as before. Excellent well appointed and equiped accomodation in lovely quiet rural surroundings but access to amenities and coastal/rural walks within a short drive. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for our dogs to roam around the cottages and no dreaconian restrictions. Lovely relaxing break for us and our dogs Rated first class.
Had a great time at this awesome barn conversion. Liz and John were amazing hosts.
Went to Cardiff on the 1st day, Western super mare and Clevedon the 2nd and highly reccommend these to.
The suspension bridge is a must to visit, as is the shopping centre in Bristol.
Liz and John have created an amazing place to stay with their home from home barn conversion. We highly recommend it as VRBO hosts ouselves 10/10
Hope to see you guys again sometime.
Ian Caz and mum Dianne.
We stayed – with our dog – for more than two weeks and enjoyed every single day. Liz and John were always very helpful and approachable, the place itself is – despite the M5 running nearby – very peaceful. The flat is very well equipped, from the essential down to doggy bags! Looking out of the windows, the dominating color is green, sheep in front of the house, horses in the fields. We were extremely lucky with the weather, did many walks directly from our doorstep, Liz turned out to be the perfect scout and explained even longer walks in every detail. Driving to Clevedon or Bristol is no problem, so all in all a wonderful place to stay – we would love to come back! Thank you!
Lots of properties say they are dog friendly but rarely are they so dog welcoming!! My two adult sons, Labrador and I had a four night break to coincide with the end of Uni term. The barn was pristine upon arrival and Liz was very welcoming and had thought of everything, from the secure exercise area for Zena (Lab) to the breakfast items for us. It’s a beautiful barn conversion, I particularly liked the mood lighting! Very comfortable and tastefully decorated throughout to a high standard. There are lovely views and walks from the property, Cadbury Camp is definitely worth the uphill hike! It’s also a great base for visiting Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury and Wells… we went to all of the above as well as Clevedon itself. This was a perfect choice for us.
Great property, in lovely location. The owners, Liz and John had clearly designed the cottage for guest comfort, with well chosen piece of equipment and furniture. The cottage was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean for our stay. Super dog friendly, with open grassed garden to the front of the cottage.Loved the extra touches, such as the welcome pack of essential foods items to make our stay more comfortable. We felt at home the moment we walked through the dog. Liz and John were great hosts, really friendly and advised on the best places to eat, visit etc.We will definitely look to book again when visiting the area.
