This vacation home is located right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on beautiful Lake Buchanan. It is in a quiet and gated property and provides a relaxing environment, perfect for a couple’s trip, a family reunion, a business get together or a friends get away trip.
This is a family friendly waterfront property that offers 2 other lake houses, a “3 Bed 2 Bath House (fits 10 people)" and a “1 Bed 1 Bath House (fits 4 people)", that can be rented individually or together as a duo or trio to better serve our guests’ group size. The property also offers plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats.
This lake house is a spacious 3 Bed 2 Full Bath home. Bedroom #1 has a full bed, bedroom #2 a queen bed/crib, bedroom #3 (master) has a queen bed/ bunk bed and a queen air mattress for extra guests. Bathroom #1 has a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. Bathroom #2 (master) has a large tub, shower, toilet and 2 sinks.
It offers a spacious living room with a couch, a loveseat and 2 chairs with ottomans, a wood burning fireplace and a 50-inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player and Dish Cable TV. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washer & dryer. We also offer Unlimited Verizon Internet and board games for the raining days. Outside guests can enjoy the shaded wraparound 2-story deck that offers a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
The house capacity is 8 guests (adults and children) comfortably sleeping in beds. If more accommodations are needed, guests can rent one of the other lake houses on the property or pay an extra guest fee of $25 per guest/per night, up to 2 extra guests and bring them along.
The property also offers plenty of outdoor space with shade trees, outdoor seating, hammock, picnic tables, fire pit, horseshoes, and bean bag toss game. A 317 Feet lighted & covered concrete fishing pier, sandy beach, 3 one seater kayaks with paddles/life vests and boat tour to the waterfalls. The lake is swimming friendly and gets deeper gradually so it is perfect for small kids.

I did not stay at Buchanan Dam. I sent you multiple texts that I did not stay in your property because of some technical issues while in the process of making this reservation. Can you pls. Check your emails so we can resolve this issue. Affirm is taking care of the dispute. I have been dealing with this problem since 4/19/24. I like VRBO, but with this unresolved issue going on for over a month now, this makes me not want to book with VRBO in the future. Really enjoyed our stay and property manager was continually available for any issues, which we didn’t really have. The water is currently much lower than the picture portrays making fishing much more difficult, yet you now have a private beach perfect for a family with dogs. Would highly recommend for a nice getaway. Take the time to tour Longhorn Cavern and jump off the rock at Inks Lake State Park.

Spring break Cabin
I rented this property for a Spring Break Getaway for my boyfriend and our kiddos. We had a great time . The owners were very nice and left the lights on outside so that we could check in and find the place after hours. The house has a large living area to relax in and the house was decorated cute. Plenty of sleep space and not crampt. The kitchen had everything that you could need to cook a nice meal. The outside was amazing and relaxing. Horseshoes, swings, playground, sand volleyball court, kayaks, you name it... Thank yall for having us! We will definiately be back again.

Sooo happy we found these wonderful hosts and awesome property! ! Initially we booked another property and upon arrival we were immensely disappointed to the point of cancellation within the first 10 minutes. Having no where to stay that night we were frantically searching available listings and came upon this one. We reached out to Wiviane and she was over the top accommodating and easy to communicate with. We were able to get in that evening and she even invited us to come and enjoy the beach while she finished cleaning to prepare for our short notice arrival. The lake was low as they have had no rain but the water is still accessible with a sandy beach. We were very happy with the accommodations and could not have asked for more. Will definitely be back!

Great family weekend!
We were looking for a waterfront house to enjoy all things on the lake from a beautiful view to a swimming beach to fishing, all just footsteps away from our sleeping quarters and this place delivered! The home was spacious for our family of 4, but we spent the majority of our time on the beautiful fishing pier, the covered deck or down on the water. We loved grilling all of our meals outside, eating on the picnic tables, playing horseshoes, swimming and fishing! It was the perfect quiet escape from the city for family fun! We would definitely recommend this place to others. The hosts were so sweet and made us feel very welcome.

Our stay was great. The only thing I have become used to in properties is the small things like paper towels and soap. This one did not have those things, but in fairness, it did state that in the listing. The location was perfect. However, one note to any future renters, the room that shows the crib and bunk beds, the bunk beds are actually in what used to be the closet and there is virtually no circulation in there.

The house was just right for us. Wonderful location on Lake Buchanan, privacy with such good outdoor space and activities we never were inside. The pier was beyond expectations. I had fun fishing, watching the sunrise and being with my son. Plenty of room to visit on the covered porch area. We will have another this year.

We wanted to get away for the weekend and fish on the pier. The weather wasn't optimal for fishing and we couldn't catch any, but we saw someone catching catfish. So there is certainly fish there. Wiviane was very responsive, house was as described.

Right by the lake! It was the perfect location. House was very clean and spacious, and we did not lack any amenitities. Almost everything was provided for us so that saved us a lot of hassle of having to supply our own grill and other cooking items. If we ever go to Colorado State Park again, we will definitely be staying here!

Place was great, very clean. Drip coffee pot, utensils, washer,dryer, shower, comfy beds. Great place kick back. The wrap around porch was the popular relaxing spot. Horseshoes, hammocks and rocking bench put front right off your steps.

Thanksgiving Week getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great place for our grandson. Mike, the owner, even let our grandson play on his tractors. The house has plenty of room, pots and pans, dishes, etc. The beach, fire pit, horse shoes, etc. were great outdoor activities.
