Great location, friendly staff, clean, new, good gym, good pool with less demand for beds than I expected (1st July for 7 nights), good breakfast, good room. Good price. Noting exceptional. “Probably the best location in St Paul’s bay. Just off the main busy tourist area. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun beds. Beds were comfy and balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. Breakfast was good, and plenty of it. As with all buffets a bit of pot luck as to how fresh the hot food was when you turn up.
The only issue preventing me giving the hotel an outstanding review was the maintenance. Considering this was the start of the season it seems that little work had been done on maintenance.……

“This was a very bizzare property. It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a 3 Bedroom apartment with locking bedroom doors.
There is a common living room and common kitchen.
The property is run from an office in Italy and they don’t do well with English.
The wi-fi was terrible and the beds were awful.
The property location is NOT correct on the Hotels.com app.
We ended up going to the wrong area then having to call another car to get to the actual location.
The instructions from the office were okay to get……

Nach fünf Nächten im Xemxija Bay Hotel fällt mein Fazit leider eher enttäuschend aus. Bereits vor der Anreise fiel mir auf, dass die auf Google gezeigten Bilder einen deutlich besseren Eindruck vermitteln als die tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Die Diskrepanz zwischen Werbeauftritt und Realität ist bemerkenswert.
Das Zimmer selbst war großzügig geschnitten und mit zwei Einzelbetten ausgestattet.……
