“The cabin was clean, cozy and provided amenities i did not expect from a rustic cabin. The resort was quiet, peaceful and safe. Checking in and out or even asking questions was a bit confusing as there was never anyone in the store/front desk to assist even tho it says open from noon-8, you're just instructed to go to the bar which doesn't open until 11:30am. Check out is 11am tho so i just left the keys on the desk. ”

“Cozy cabin, and very much as advertised. Very clean, nice property right by the river. Was a good choice for my purpose, a solo detox in the woods. Host was super responsive and delivered on my request (firewood). Only downside was some road noise from the highway, not audible in the cabin, but you can hear it outside. I didn’t have my young children but would have worried about them using the loft space - it’s beautiful but high and fairly open. ”

“The room was very clean, no odor, bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were accommodating and kind. The bistro/restaurant has AMAZING food. I mean really, really tasty food. Honestly, I have NO idea why people would complain about this hotel. It is a historic hotel and almost 200 years old. I think you'd have to be a half-brained nitwit to expect it to be modern looking inside. As for the ghosts....I didn't get to see or hear any while we visited. I stayed in Rm 207. I would definitely stay here……

“The property was beautiful and the host was very responsive and even checked in with us before check in with a complimentary call before our arrival whoch i thought was nice it was just hard to hear as i was on back roads. There was a little issue with the other tenants dogs but we have dogs and lived on top of one that barked 24/7 so were kind of used to it and their dogs theres not much you can do. There also was no internet connection when we got the but the host fixed that for us right away.……

“Adorable weekend getaway. Cozy, comfortable, well-maintained space. Walking distance to Three Hammers Winery. (Highly recommend). Short drive to Glass- Wine. Bar Kitchen, right on a waterfall. The fire pit was a nightly event. Owner was kind and responsive. We’d love to return some day! ”
