“This was our first lake vacation but it won’t be our last! The house is as cheerful, welcoming and well appointed as pictured. The hosts were easy to communicate with and left all the information we needed. The hammock, sundeck and Adirondack chairs were favorite spots throughout the week. We made day trips to Burlington and Montreal. We were treated to stunning sunsets each evening. It was a peaceful week and a nice change of pace from our typical ocean vacations. ”

“The listing is accurate. The four of us had a great time fishing and swimming. We caught dozens of fish right off the dock and almost a large bowfin. St. Albans was a great place to eat and get groceries. We took a day to see Burlington. The cabin is large and all the amenities worked. We'd come back if it weren't so far away. ”

“This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. “This property is perfect for a few days in Stowe. Michelle was great to communicate with promptly when we had a few questions about location of supplies. It was well stocked with cookware, dishes, and clean. Besides the location to proximity to Stowe we also enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and game room in the basement. Also the beds and bedding were very comfortable. Highly recommend and would rent again! My only constructive feedback is the outdoor furniture was a little worn but I think that...

“The cottage was a great size for one couple, and since that's what we were, it was perfect! Jan and Sue were wonderful hosts - available if we needed them and unobtrusive when we didn't. They are right up the hill from the cottage. The only negatives I had were the size of the bath/shower (but it didn't detract from our overall stay in any way) and the walk down to the cabin from the parking area, which wasn't noted anywhere on the listing site.
