A very clean and spacious room. The hotel is in a great spot close to Braddon. It has a secure car park. The staff were very friendly and competent.
Unfortunately there was no phone reception from my room - I could not use my mobile phone! Also, the curtains did not block out the light from outside and the windows did a poor job at blocking out the sound of Northbourne avenue.

This is a new hotel which is built in a quiet area if Canberra but still very easy to access the tourist sites and restaurants.
The Wi Fi didn't work most of the time. The bathroom has been designed to look good but it lacks a privacy with the toilet area having a frosted glass door which does not go to the ceiling.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

First room was below standard for me for a business trip. Talked with the staff at reception and they very quickly found me another room, they were very helpful and understanding.
Overall I had a very good trip. Not having to worry about parking was a big bonus.

Located on the Esplanade, few minutes to the centre this is good hotel for few nights. Former Holiday Inn it lacks the Hilton standard of today. Air conditioning laboured, breakfast did not have too many choices, but rest was good. Price/quality is OK in this expensive city and we would stay in this hotel again.

I choose this hotel.because I thought that it still had the rotisserie. But due to a change in ownership the rotisserie was closed down and instead an intalian restaurant was erected which is very disappointing. The East Hotel was famous for its rotisserie but without it looses ita appeal.
Comfort wise the windows are not insulating guests from car and road noises.
Overall while staff is friendly and hotel.is modern and well.located it lost its edge with the closing of the rotisserie. And thus nothing differentiates this hotel from other hotels
