Canisteo Chalets

Nice place to stay while visiting Alfred U. Clean room, included breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable mattress. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Thank you.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Alfred University or Alfred State. It's a beautiful old house, tastefully redone; the owner and Brenda, the person making breakfast and cleaning up are friendly and interesting individuals.

Very clean, modern hotel. Breakfast is so good, with many fresh baked pastries and breakfast pizza. There is also a brewery right next door, so that is a bonus! Highly recommend.

Probably one of the best stays in a long time. Clean room-Welcome rest after long day.

My friend and family went up for a weekend to do a self guided wine tour. My best friend and I share a birthday and we were celebrating! We booked at this hotel not knowing anything about it. Right from the start the owner was incredibly nice and welcoming she found out we were celebrating our birthday. The rooms were personal cute and clean. The next morning we went to the continental breakfast and see the owner's little boy bringing out a special birthday cake and cookies she purchased just...

The room was clean and comfortable. I love that they use Dove brand products for their toiletries! The pool was a comfortable temperature, and the breakfast was just right. Cozy motel that is doing everything right. Super clean and in good repair. Every staff member I came across smiled and said hello.

Clean and modern rooms. Staff was very nice and accomodating

This day was beautiful experience very clean, very professional. I will go there again and again.

The room was spotless and the staff was pleasant. It's somewhat hard to find but worth the effort. There was a nice small but sufficient breakfast.

The owner was very kind and hopeful. The room was clean and comfortable. The rate was reasonable. We were very pleased with our stay here.

Greeted by friendly owner when we arrived who gave us the key to our room. My kids and I stayed here during a trip to Wellsville in the summer. We wanted air conditioning for a night and a tv to watch with children’s shows. We found Simpsons on FX and PBS Kids before bedtime were great! The place was a motel style with private entrance which we appreciated for an easy commute to our vehicle and other guests were quiet. It was the middle of the week. Typical motel setup with the basics. We also...
