“Highly recommend August House. The rooms in this heritage home are clean and beautiful with a minimalist, pine aesthetic. The breakfast is buffet with local bread, granola, berries, scrambled eggs, etc. The staff are very helpful. There is a sauna and several shared spaces. The rooms have no TV. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was deep. ”

The cabin had all the comforts of home, including a bathroom with shower, TV, heat & A/C, and a mini fridge. “It was great. I know having the bathroom and showers in different spot was different but still loved it. In touch with nature. A great place to stay. Room was cozy. My cat liked it. Knowing about the other spaces will make us want to choose one of them. This is what I needed and quiet place plus comfortable bed. Would stay again.”

“The host and property were both amazing. Great communication and support from the host. The location was beautiful. We didn't use the bunk house but the main cottage was clean, up to date and had great amenities. We went during the winter months, but will definitely be returning in the spring/summer to take advantage of the dock and outdoor beauty! ”

“The cabin is in a fantastic location looking over the lake, the interior was very clean and looks great. Convinent location for getting to vineyards and wolfvile. I would highly recommend this place for anyone to stay at. ”
