"The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do. The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night. The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable...

"Location in Alexandria is ideal for exploring DC area. 7 minute drive to Huntington Metro stop with parking. Some issue at check in from previous guests, but was host on top of providing solutions. Lower floor with 2 double beds provided excellent location for cousin's slumber parties. Quiet neighborhood with driveway for parking."

"Overall the place was clean and easy to settle in to. The two things that I have to recommend if I had to would be a couple more throw size blankets. With the group I was in, it was a bit difficult to regulate the temp of the house and make everyone comfortable. The second would be to change the wall mount for the living room tv to one that swivels - that way movie nights are a bit more comfy (we got rained out one day and made this discovery). "House has a nice layout, and cool temp despite very hot days. Parked 2 cars in back & walked everywhere. Stocked with coffee and cream, but also a nice coffee/breakfast shop right down the street. Great value & very comfortable for our group of 5 adults."
