Very chic hotel with excellent, stylish decor. Like the “smart” controls for room features. Comfortable bed and terrific rooftop terrace with views of the Capitol. Yummy breakfast too!

The positives: friendly staff. The hotel had a hip and modern feel about it. While the room was narrow, it was very well laid out. It had an odd futuristic feel, with the entire room controlled by an iPad (complete with “mood” settings, that adjusted lights and added music automatically). Very cool. Negatives: #1 the camera on the iPad (we covered it at all times). #2 someone left their trash outside their door on our way to our room (it smelled strongly of weed), however the hotel took care of it the next day. #3 the room key was required to use the elevator, but was soooo hard to use. Had to get assistance a few times. Once I finally figured it out, I started helping all the others. Overall, we would certainly stay here again.

Very modern, relatively inexpensive, close to a “pod” like room. Very comfy and aesthetically pleasing. Lovely location right between the national mall and the wharf, both in walking distance. Loved it.

Rooms size is like being in a cruise ship! Cubbyhole. Beds position was awful. Only one person can get off or on comfortably. All 4 pillows were very FIRM. Not recommended for people with even slightest disability! Skip it!

While this hotel was funky and comfortable, I do wish the bathrooms had the ability to lock. You see, I do not like to go to the bathroom in front of my husband and my husband found great joy on this trip that he could swing in the bathroom door at any moment and startle me while doing my business.

Just finished a 4 night stay. Pros: Location. It’s just a few blocks from the National Mall. Just a block from L’Enfant metro. Staff is excellent and attentive. Price Cons: Room is small with little storage for clothes. Very few dining options within a block or two. The Bad: Air conditioning. If you read 1 and 2 star reviews it’s all about lack of AC. Our room was unacceptably warm. Staff moved us to a new room that was better but still too warm for our taste. Staff provided us with an oscillating fan that made the stay acceptable. IMO the system has a limiter on how cold it can get. Probably around 70 F. So if you like it cold at night. Look elsewhere. Again staff was great. This is a facility issue.

This was a great, fun, funky hotel. The rooms were very small, but we didn't spend much time in our room so it didn't matter to us. The air was semi stagnen and we could not get the fan to work. The bed was very comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.

Staff was nothing short of amazing. All very polite and attentive. My biggest problem was the AC unit. My stay was from Friday to Tuesday morning and the whole time I was there my AC unit did not work. I addressed with a staff member on Sunday as I knew it was unseasonably warm in DC right now. I got the usual spiel about how it’s hot but he did see a problem with unit and supposedly reset it. It never got cold in my room not once. This was my biggest complaint. Staff was all great and would maybe think about staying again but not if the AC doesn’t work properly like it should.
