There are many exciting adventures to be had in Golden Triangle, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Rent a set of wheels and you can roam around the greater area at your own pace. Add these awesome places to your list:

• Montreal is approximately 100 miles from Golden Triangle. Popular tourist attractions like Notre Dame Basilica deserve a place on your must-see list here.
• Roughly 90 miles away, Kingston is also a favorite with travelers. Be sure to check out Kingston Waterfront while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this colorful city.
• Find your way to Sandbanks Provincial Park for a day out in nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just recharge your batteries in the fresh air. From Golden Triangle, it's roughly 130 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Canada, then you might need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well.
