After you've visited all of the great sights in Joyuda, there's a lot more to explore in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. Here are some road trips we're confident you'll enjoy:

• Make your way to San Juan for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Roughly 75 miles from Joyuda, it's home to lots of great sights such as San Juan Gate.
• Roughly 90 miles away, Río Grande is also popular with wanderers. Allow time to experience Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this vibrant city.
• Head to Culebrita Beach to discover some local nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Joyuda, it's roughly 130 miles away.
