"We loved Awelon really well furnished and everything you could need supplied The courtyard needs some TLC it could be so pretty The1 downside was the outside bin it was full to overflowing when we arrived and very smelly due to the warm temperatures I did email hoping that it could emptied but nothing was done My husband had to push the rubbish down to enable us to use it Kind regards Glenys"

"Booking really easy and had to add to our party at late notice which was no problem. Very friendly & helpful hosts, caravan just as pictured very clean & comfy. We originally book for a walking holiday base but that changed but was still plenty to do. Pony trecking great fun. We will definitely be back hopefully next year for the walking and longer trecking. "We really enjoyed our stay with The Castle Inn! The team were very welcoming to us and our dogs, the rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable. There is a good selection of local drinks available and the food selection and quality was outstanding! The little things really stood out too, such as the “Hungry Dawg” menu for the four-legged ones, a well presented beer garden for the warmer months and a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit west...

"Accommodation is in well furnished self catering or modern rooms. This is not a hotel. Access and parking is convoluted and is not ideal for those with mobility problems. Rooms are accessed via a staircase. Room to room noise is evident and Saturday night is lively across the road until midnight. Breakfast is served at the 1176 restaurant and is very good with friendly staff and good locally sourced ingredients. There is nearby street parking for blue badge holders but would not recommend...

"New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there."
