"Absolutely adorable, quaint country estate home with lots of opulence and charm and loaded with amenities. Hosts were absolutely delightful, lots of restaurants near by for dinner options. Breakfast was wonderful, from the freshly pressed apple juice, bowl of fresh fruit and your choice of mains. Highly recommend this country estate B&B 12/10"

"We loved Awelon really well furnished and everything you could need supplied The courtyard needs some TLC it could be so pretty The1 downside was the outside bin it was full to overflowing when we arrived and very smelly due to the warm temperatures I did email hoping that it could emptied but nothing was done My husband had to push the rubbish down to enable us to use it Kind regards Glenys"

"This was a perfect little getaway, the cottage had everything we needed just remember to take own towels. The owner called us day before to remind us, great communication. Location fab we walked to local train station and then took train and ferry to Barmouth which was a lovely day out. The next day was cloudy so read through the information owner had kindly left and decided to visit the Magic lantern cinema which was great experience. The hot tub was definitely what attracted us to stay here...

"Accommodation is in well furnished self catering or modern rooms. This is not a hotel. Access and parking is convoluted and is not ideal for those with mobility problems. Rooms are accessed via a staircase. Room to room noise is evident and Saturday night is lively across the road until midnight. Breakfast is served at the 1176 restaurant and is very good with friendly staff and good locally sourced ingredients. There is nearby street parking for blue badge holders but would not recommend...

"Our stay was lovely...our room was cosy & comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the village setting was idyllic - quiet and peaceful...just shat we wanted. Plus the breakfast was awesome."
