"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "The experience was amazing from check in to check out. Really enjoyed using the spa. Which was followed by outstanding food in the restaurant. Breakfast was also very nice this morning with a very good choice. The staff were extremely pleasant in all areas of the hotel. But a special mention for John on reception, who couldn’t do enough for all visitors. Also Cici was the waitress was informative and very funny a great asset to the restaurant. "
