Nestled between Carmel and Point Lobos, at the gateway to Big Sur, Ribera Road is one of the most desirable areas on the Calfiornia coast. Blissfully empty beaches and hiking trails abound—yet you're just minutes away from restaurants, shops, spas, and golf.  Here, an elevator in the garage delivers you to the formal living room, kitchen, dining nook and family room. Two balconies (one with a firepit) invite you to enjoy forever views of the Santa Lucia mountains. Three bedrooms and three baths are a half-flight up from the entry. Two master suites (one King and one Queen) have en suite baths with showers; a third guestroom has a Twin bed and a desk (there's a full bath with shower across the hall). French doors in all three bedrooms open to a protected back patio with a dining table, loungers, and a barbecue. Access to the coastal trail and the beach (via stairs) is at the end of Ribera Road.

Charming Home (in a perfect location)

The home was very comfortable, lots of room for our adult family of 4.The bed in the principal bedroom was extremely comfortable. Beautiful home and fantastic location
The house was beautiful, with many windows and outdoor seating options. The location was perfect for exploring Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey. We could even walk down to the beach from a trail in the neighborhood. We will definitely visit again!

Great house and well equipped
We had a wonderful time at this comfortable house right off HWY 1. The location was perfect for hiking and relaxing. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had an issue with the TV. He replaced it with a new one the next day. Short walk to stairs leading to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood.
