Lovely little inn. It was well kept and everything genuinely looked/ smelled clean. Also, the location of the inn was very convenient since all the shops and restaurants were walking distance. 10/10 would recommend! 🌟

Overall, it was a good stay. We had a Quiet room but the location on property was poor. One side faced the property parking lot while the opposite side faced a construction parking lot. We should’ve been offered a discount since, as in the online photos, it showed nothing but pretty greenery and hanging plants. It was nice to have lunch at the umbrella tables in the center of the property. We arrived after the office was closed, but the self-check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was a little weird that they put the refrigerator in the bathroom. Property location was great! We could walk down the street one way to the shops, galleries, and restaurants, or out the other directions into the neighborhoods.

Stay here when I’m in the area. Great little gem. While it’s about 1 mile to the beach, they do offer free bikes which is very convenient. Very clean, views of the ocean..Highly recommended!

The fireplace was very nice when the fog rolled in. Bed was very comfortable and linens top quality. If you need a room on the ground floor, you MUST request it. They do not have accessible rooms. We had a disabled 82 year old who had to climb16 stairs on a cane. We asked to be placed downstairs and was told no rooms available, yet most checked in after us and were on the ground floor. The front desk was NOT accommodating. Lesson learned, request specific needs. Very clean room, not a new place but quaint and nice. Also, we booked for 2 couples, yet our rooms were not close at all. Won’t stay there again, too many other choices.

The staff and property were great. The walk ability into town was perfect. However I do feel like no assigned parking in a small town such as Carmel should be mentioned before a stay. We did go on a busy holiday weekend but the parking, especially on our arrival was very difficult. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to find any at first, then finally we did.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our girls weekend away. It was within walking distance of pretty much everything. I would absolutely stay here again! The one challenge was the parking. They do not have enough spots in the lot, so some guests have to find parking in the neighborhood. Depending on the time that you arrive finding street parking can be a bit of a challenge.

The fireplace is great to keep our room cozy and warm. We were not able to park in the hotel parking lot but were lucky to park on road side close to the hotel. The location is perfect to walk around Carmel. Enjoy the stay.

Loved the location, the privacy, the quiet courtyard. Room was perfect for 2 with one dog. Bed and pillows were comfy. Easy walking distance to pet friendly breakfast, lunch, and dinner places, plus all of downtown. The beach (off leash) was a bit further, easy to get to, but a bit of a walk back up.

This place was nice and in a great location within walking distance to downtown, which was definitely the main benefit. That said, the rooms felt a bit dirty and outdated. We found an old T-shirt in the closet and a few toys left in the room that weren’t ours, which made it seem like the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned between guests. The bathroom also had spiders, and overall the property felt more worn than expected. For the price, it didn’t feel like the value matched the cost. It seemed like you’re mostly paying for the location rather than the quality of the stay.
