“I’d read bad reviews after booking so I was very worried. But we got a basic, decent chalet in a good location. It was quiet and safe. It needs a deep clean, mould on curtains, and cobwebs everywhere, but everything else was very clean. It was fine for the price we paid. Sykes cottages manage this chalet, but it’s Atlantic Bays reception, and they won’t know anything about your booking. “A nice caravan in a vary large caravan park on the eastern edge of Newquay. The photo on VRBO has used a little artistic licence - it is surrounded by other caravans. However everything else is as listed. Slightly confusing information on arrival - telling us there is complimentary food etc to use but then saying we will be charged for what we use. It's either complimentary or it's chargeable. A clean caravan, facilities as listed. I would stay again if in the area.”
